This filter is an excellent purchase for the 2007 Camry XLE, it fits perfect, is very well produced, activated charcoal and baking soda to leave the cabin clean odorless air conditioning this together plasmacuster the 2007 Camry XLE achieve the best system clean fresh air and cabin. Just pay close attention to install and put it in reverse, my recommendation is that the carbon black is placed facing the floor of the vehicle. If your vehicle by turning the air emitting a strong odor and the windows does not come soon enough air time to change the cabin filter. The original filter is good, but no carbon containing sodium bicarbonate and costs 5 times more than in amazon and not counting the shipping is free, what more I can ask, thanks amazon.

The product picture is the truth, but I did not realize the implications because I forgot what OEM filter looked like precisely. So, I disagree with Mr. Hayden's review and the claim that FRAM CF10285 is "a few steps above OEM". It plainly is not. The amount of the filtering material is less than half of that of OEM, and FRAM tried to complensate with the activated coal. No argument, coal is great for things like smells or cigarette smoke, but it's no substitute for actual filter. 3 stars.

This is a lot better value than the size that comes with the regular re-charge kit. The spray bottle offers much better coverage with less waste, and less effort from the regular size finger pump. And I have always found that the cleaner runs out way before the oil of the same size. Also I clean these filters more often, and it really helps with overall milage. Letting a filter go 50k (K&N statement) before you clean it is just CRAZY! Clean it every 10-15k and you will find your car runs better, and you have less gunk on you throttle body that causes poor mileage.

I typically use only original parts for my vehicle, unless it's an item

In this case.. it's a dust filter.

It works. It's cheaper. Everyone is happy.

I can't say how easy the installation was, because it varies by vehicle and your skill level.

For my car (03 Nissan Altima).

It was cake.

I have to admit, after trying to figure it out for all of 2 min.. I went with F... it and just stuck it in turned my fan on and it worked.

Has been working fine for the last several months. I don't know about the baking soda but but so far it seems to work at least as well as the Nissan filter I had been using.

I bought a used car and I love it except for some odor it had, I am very susceptible to odors so I tried several things to get rid of the odor like:

Shampooing the carpet with a can I got from the auto-parts.

Cleaning my car with steam.

Buying all kind of air fresheners,

Using the baking soda you use on a refrigerator under the seat

and even I bought a ionizer here in amazon.

None worked.

This by far have given me the best results, in addition I have an air freshener, so when I go into my car it smells pleasant. Not perfect but almost.

I bought this product b/c Amazon specified that it would fit a 2004 Toyota Corolla however it does not. I was able to cut/squeeze it in but it's not quite right. Oh well.



The directions in the package specify that it fits camry, avalon, sienna, and others, but does *not* specify Corolla. Go to the manufacturer site at www.framcatalog.com and find the right one before ordering.

This may well be a very good product, but I wouldn't know because the Amazon description does not make it clear that this product is only for vehicles built between 1981 and 1995. Only if you zoom in on the picture can this fact be seen printed on the product.



Apparently, before 1995, manufacturers used their own code system known as OBD1. After that time, OBD2 was introduced. This later coding requires a more sophisticated diagnostics reader with a new type of standardized connector and code system, but has the benefit of not being manufacturer specific.

I was satisfied with this item, although I initially plugged it in backwards; when I finally got it plugged in right, it worked as described. I wanted to get the extension cord for it also, but it seemed too expensive for what it was. Basically when you plug the unit into the plug in the engine compartment, you do one set of tests that work fine when you are standing there with the device. But then, when you are getting a passing grade on that test, there are two more levels of testing that may require you to tap on the gas or brakes from the drivers seat and if you are doing that, you can't look at the code reader at the same time to see when it is ready to move to the next step, unless you have two people doing it, or buy the extension cable so the device can be in the driver's seat with you. The manual is pretty well written and thorough, but then in my case I still needed my ford factory service manuals that I also bought online, to tell me specifically what the codes meant.

I had a problem with my 94 Ford Taurus 3.8l engine stalling after sitting for a few minutes. used the code reader to discover that one of my sensors was bad. After replacing the sensor I still had the problem. Although the reader The MAP was ok,I replace it also. The MAP was good and that did not solve my problem. The problem is that Ford recalled the fuel pump on the car in 1994. It was the cause of the problem. It causes the car to have an effect like a vapor lock. At lease the code reader save me from spending more money. I think it was a very good deal. It forced me to look for the problem some where else, Two thumbs up.....
